On Saturday night Venice’s historic Prohibition Era Speakeasy, downstairs at Townhouse on Windward Ave., will host a benefit for Venice Arts.
Now in its’ 23rd year, Venice Arts provides free, high-quality media based arts education to low-income youth. With a mission to ignite imagination, mentor creativity, and expand a sense of possibility through high quality, accessible media–based arts education programs.
All money raised from Speakeasy at the Townhouse goes directly towards sustaining the organization’s transformative programs. The night will include complimentary fine whiskey tasting, appetizers from local Venice hotspots, a silent auction featuring photography by Venice Arts’ students, raffle prizes.
There will be live music with a performance from Among Savages.
