A person suffered critical injuries while in a
vehicle that overturned this morning in Marina Del Rey.
Paramedics dispatched to the scene at 6:48 a.m. rushed one person to an area hospital with critical injuries, according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
The crash at Admiralty and Palawan ways was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 6:46 a.m., said CHP Officer Peter Bishop after residents reported hearing what sounded like a small explosion at 6:40 a.m.
A crew from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works was dispatched to the scene to remove a tree that had fallen onto the roadway, he said.
The CHP issued a SigAlert at 7:33 a.m. this morning that closed Palawan Way at Admiralty Way for at least an hour, Bishop said.
