A 67-year-old Long Beach man suspected of fatally shooting a man in Gardena earlier this week was arrested Saturday.
Joseph Hector Duhon is suspected of killing 44-year-old James Scott of Venice shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday in the 3300 block of Marine Avenue, Deputy Sara Rodriguez of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Duhon was being held in lieu of $1 million bail and is due to appear in court in Torrance on Tuesday, Rodriguez said.
The circumstances surrounding the killing were not made public.
