Venice residents are being urged to be vigilant after a tire slashing in the Windward neighborhood on Friday night.
The latest incident occurred on the corner of Rialto and Andalusia; the sidewalls of two tires were punctured in this instance.
Venice Stakeholders Association president Mark Ryavec said there was another incident near Windward and Riviera about a month or two ago.
“There were signs posted in our neighborhood about a month ago warning of someone slashing tires on Windward and on Riviera,” Ryavec said. “Now it has migrated over to Andalusia and Rialto.”
Anyone with information is urged to call the LAPD’s Pacific Division at 310.482.6334.
