Ray Rae reports in on the Teen Project Fundraiser yesterday at Hotel Erwin:
Thanks to Mark Sokol, The Erwin, and generous donations from the Venice community this past Sunday, The Venice P.A.D. raised $44k of the $180k that’s needed to operate their facility on 76 Market for another year. There are two more fundraisers planned. The Teen Project takes on the lives of the kids, bringing them home to safety, higher education, and sustainable employment. The Venice PAD has successfully transitioned hundreds of young homeless off of the streets of Venice and into homes, schools, and jobs. For more information contact The Teen Project: http://www.theteenproject.com/ or stop by The PAD at 76 Market St. to take a look and drop off food, clothes, make a donation, or volunteer. While you’re there, check out Ray Rae’s fine art exhibit. Purchase a framed limited addition print and a portion of the proceeds go directly to The P.A.D..
