LA Weekly on Bret’s Death

Maisie538 writes in the forum:

I wrote to the LA Times and LA Weekly to ask about an obituary for Bret, who meant so much to Venice. The LA Weekly wins the responsiveness prize by a landslide. A writer named Dennis Romero reached out to me yesterday and I spoke to him about what YoVenice and Bret had meant to me as a Venice resident and business owner, even though I didn’t know Bret personally. Today the incredibly industrious Mr. Romero published this worthy tribute.
