Ever wonder what is happening when you look offshore and see a US Coast Guard helicopter hovering for hours on end? Peep these videos taken near Venice!
That is the Coast Guard training for ocean rescues! Not sure why the USCG team needs to train so close to shore: they are too far out for the public to really see what they are doing without a long camera lens, but they are close enough that the helicopter creates a ton of noise pollution for everyone that lives near the beach. I’m happy that they are there to save lives when needed tho!
