The FBI says those infected with a computer virus called DNSChanger could lose Internet access beginning July 9th. Click here to see if your computer has been infected.
An alleged organized criminal enterprise called Rove Digital deployed the virus, which controlled computer users’ web browsing. The criminals profited from their actions by replacing legitimate advertising with their own advertising. Six of the members were arrested last year.
The FBI estimate that there are approximately 64,000 computers that are still affected by this in the United States.
