A Public Hearing has been scheduled for Monday, July 2nd at 1pm for the Coastal Development Permit for the proposed Venice beach Zipline. If you are unable to attend the meeting, comments can be sent to Catalina Hernandez, environmental specialist with the LA Department of Public Works.

The proposed Zipline are will run for 750ft along Ocean Front Walk, have 2-4 ziplines, a launch tower 15 feet wide and 50 feet high (across from the Sidewalk Cafe) and a landing tower 16 feet wide and 24 feet tall located at 17th street and Ocean Front Walk.

The Zipline would operate from 11am until sunset, have rides that cost a base rate of $20 that last less than a minute, a 20 person zipline staff with 12 people working at a time and several planned live performances during the 3 month pilot program. The map below shows the location:
