The Stansbury Collection on Abbot Kinney is moving out after 20 years on Abbot Kinney, 14 of which were in their present location.
Stansbury is moving because the building (they were renters) was recently sold. Founded in 1982 by Armand Stansbury, the store features art, mirrors, custom designed wood and leather furniture and antiques designed and / or curated by Stansbury.
Fortunately, The Stansbury Collection’s new location is nearby at 2816 Main Street (the old “Pure Beauty” location) in Santa Monica.
Tom’s Shoes is expected to take over the space at 1344 Abbot Kinney, which will put it near Aviator Nation, the store owned by Tom’s Shoes founder Blake Mycoskie’s sister Paige Mycoskie.
