The 19th Annual Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival will be held at The Electric Lodge this weekend, kicking off with a Champagne Gala & Awards Ceremony on March 22 at 7 pm. The ceremony will be hosted by Hattie Winston, Ted Lange and Roger Guenveur Smithon and honor Michelle Danner, Ivonne Coll, Denise Nicholas and Aliah Whitmore. Evening attire is requested and tickets are still available!
The goal of The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival is to empower women artists to engage and inspire communities through the production of multidisciplinary solo performances and educational outreach. The Annual Festival honors the achievement of extraordinary women in theatre.
The Festival theme is “SHINE!” and will feature 4 days with 21 female solo performers with original works in theatre, dance, spoken word, poetry, performance artists, singers, comedians, and storytellers from around the world.
