We have pretty much ignored the über hip Victorian House Basement Tavern on Main since it is in Santa Monica, but this sounds pretty solid and there is no cover charge.
Starting on Thurs Oct 7th, Back of The Hand Allstars aka The Brig Band will begin their weekly residency.
The all star roster of Back of The Hand Allstars include musicians from bands such as Fishbone, Stevie Wonder, The Mothers of Invention, Steely Dan, Ben Harper and others. They will serve up an improvised and intimate jam of funk, jazz n soul delivered fresh every Thursday evenings from 10pm-1am.
