Want to see what the 300 million dollar, 390 foot Philippe Starck designed mega yacht that belongs to Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko looks like? The “A” (that is its name) is off the coast of Venice Beach right now (10:40am Monday). More pictures to follow.

It is reported that the “A” burns up to 700 gallons per hour while cruising, and that a fill-up can run nearly half a million US dollars. It has three swimming pools, a helipad, and three 30′ speedboats. It also has 23,600 square feet of living space.
Heads up to the pirates down at the beach: the boat’s windows are made of bomb-proof glass and there are fingerprint scanners at every door. Forty-four security camera litter the boat’s interior and exterior, some equipped with night-vision infrared and motion-detection systems.
