Strange Invisible Perfumes: Bad Attitude on Abbot Kinney

Residents be warned, the photo police are operating on Abbot Kinney!

Strange Invisible Perfumes on Abbot Kinney created by Alexandra Balahoutis would probably be getting a pleasant review here on Yo! Venice! today despite the fact they are selling $185 a bottle of perfumes but the woman that works there told me by decree of the owner I was not permitted to take pictures of the establishment despite the fact I was standing on the public sidewalk outside of the business.

I have never had anything but pleasant experiences around Venice taking pictures of businesses and speaking with shop owners, so this is my first ever non review of a business except to say they a) have no idea what public photography laws are and b) have a bad attitude that seems unlikely, given our experience, to last in a place like Venice. As I told the woman at the shop, “that’s pretty funny, I guess I’ll never be coming back here.” Done and over with.
