As always, the Twilight Dance Series at the Santa Monica Pier Thursday evenings during the summer is a special free concert gift from the city and the concert sponsors and promoters to the people of Los Angeles. Last week kicked off the season with Playing for Change and Bushman, who easily won over the crowd with some great roots reggae and world music. This Thursday living legend Joan Baez will take the stage with guest Tift Merritt in a concert not to be missed. Grab your bicycle and cooler and head north from 7-10pm!
After the show, Viceroy Santa Monica is offering a late night happy hour with half-off all beer and wine. That means from 9pm-close, standard beers are $2.50 and premium are $4! Wines will range from $6-8 a glass. That is a pretty solid deal, yo!
