In honor of South African anti-apartheid revolutionary and politician Nelson Mandela’s 95th Birthday and “Nelson Mandela Day“, artist David Flores will be installing a Mandela mural at the Venice Love Shack at 2121 Lincoln Blvd from 1-8pm this afternoon.
During the festivities, the amazing Nigerian percussionist Remi Kabaka will be performing with King of Boys. Kabaka, a Santa Monica resident, has recorded and played with such greats as The Rolling Stones, Steve Windward, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon and Jimi Hendrix.
