This Sunday, September 2nd, WUZHERE! will host live painting by a dozen or more graff writers from influential graffiti crews WCA, CBS, UTI, TITS, MTA, LOD and more at the Venice Art Walls from noon thru 7 pm. This event will also be the last event ICU Art.
The festivities are part of a citywide tour by WUZHERE! to the seven top yards where graffiti took root and exploded in the 80’s and 90’s. Other stops on the tour (besides the Art Walls, the last remnants of the Graffiti Pit at the Venice Pavillion) include Belmont Tunnel, Panic Zone, The L.A. River, Pan Pacific, Melrose Alleys and Motor Yard.
WUZHERE! encourages folks to bring black books and stickers to trade, take flicks of the painting and hang out with them and the DJ’s they are bringing to the set. DJ’s include DJ 1987 (CBS Crew) and DJ Don Cesar (almighty SPB Crew) from San Pedro.
