In 1978, Rob Gustaveson moved to Venice and started the Beyond Illusion New Age Bookstore on Pacific Ave across from Market Street. He ran the store for a year, mainly making the rent selling comic books. Rob now sells rare and vintage comics online from his home in Oregon.
