The Venice Beach Penguin Club started off 2010 this morning with a friendly swim race in the Pacific that had all participants ear to ear with grins and shivers. The Penguin Swim is a fun event and this year it was their 50th anniversary. Feel free to join in next year, everyone is in a celebratory mood including the Coast Guard who puts on a little mini parade with boats blowing water cannons and a helicopter fly by.
