On Saturday, May 19th, from 7-9 p.m. the parents and friends of Walgrove Elementary School will be performing in a show of stand-up, spoken word and music at Grandview Market at 12210 Venice Blvd in Mar Vista.
This event is free but there is a suggested two item minimum. Beer, wine and dinner will be available for purchase.
Performing standup comedy will be Alyssa Price, Monica Sauseda and Heather J. McAdams. Raven Jackson, Kathy Hadizdeh and Matthew Wagner will each perform spoken word bits while Mr. Mustache, Ashwood and Nashville’s own Doug Swanson will entertain guests with musical performances.
“A perfect date night for Westside parents. You book the babysitter and we’ll ‘rock the mic!’ We look forward to seeing you there!,” Heather McAdams said in a press release.
