The Abbot Kinney Festival returns to Venice this Sunday, Sept. 28 from 10 am to 6 pm.
Primarily run by volunteers, the AKF is in its 30th year of celebrating the culture and creativity of Venice.
It is a free arts and music event, with all proceeds going to the Abbot Kinney Festival Association Community Grants program, which provides funding for programs and services by local youth and family services from Venice nonprofits.
In addition to giving back to the community, the festival is best known for its unique array of local artisan crafts, live music, good food, and commitment to the environment.
