Z-Flex Jay Boy Classic

Ray Rae  catches us up with last weekend: This past weekend Skateboarders from near and far led by Skateboarding legend and innovator Jay Adams flocked to Dennis “Polar Bear” Agnew Memorial Skatepark for the first annual Z-Flex Jay Boy Classic. The Warm-ups and registration started at 10 am and by 12:30 the 40 slots in the competition were full with hungry bowl skaters from as far away as the United Kingdom. The Z-Flex team, along with numerous legends of the Venice Skate community were on hand to set up, skate, and judge the event. Event sponsors included: Juice Magazine, Hurley, Osiris, Tracker, Olloclip, Venice Originals, Vita Coco and the Venice Skate Association. Another Jay Boy Classic is planned for next year.
