The California Coastal Commission will hold a meeting to discusses the proposed Venice Zip Line on Thursday, February 7th at 8:30 am at the Redondo Beach Civic Center. Click here to read the details about the proposed project.
The project, which has been proposed for the park land in front of the 1500-1600 block of Ocean Front Walk, includes installing a zip line for a three month pilot program in the spring and summer of 2013. The 750 foot long zip lines (up to 4 multiple lines) would run above the park between a 44 foot high “take off” platform and a 24 foot high “landing” platform.
