Speaking of Malibu, the City of Malibu sent us an email inviting all us Venetians up the coast to join them tomorrow at the Malipalooza 2012 summer festival! The festival takes place from 4-10 p.m. at Malibu Bluffs Park, located on Pacific Coast Highway at Malibu Canyon Road. The event is free and open to the public and very kid friendly!
Festival highlights include live musical performances by Stack of 45’s, Destiny, The Suspenders, and the Malibu Senior Choir, as well as performances by the Malibu High School Cheerleading Squad, Young Actors Project and Malibu Performance Group.
There will also be a 1950s car show, children’s activities, bounce houses, merchandise vendors, crafts and gourmet food trucks. The event will conclude with a special film screening of Grease, as part of the City’s CineMalibu outdoor summer movie series. The movie will begin at dusk. Participants are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.
Free parking available on Malibu Canyon Road! Bring your chairs and blankets to enjoy this FREE summer event at the park.
