Free Tickets for Diana Krall at the Hollywood Bowl This Saturday!

The wonderfully nice people over at the Hollywood Bowl have offered us two tickets to give away for the Diana Krall concert this Saturday, August 25th! The show starts at 8pm, and they are great tickets!

Diana Krall with guitar virtuoso Anthony Wilson in Madrid

Grammy Award winning Krall is a sultry songstress and wickedly proficient pianist that peppers breaks between songs with some seriously hilarious banter, often at the expense of her husband Elvis Costello. I suppose one can make fun of Costello once they have received nine gold, three platinum, and seven multi-platinum albums like Krall has!

A Krall performance is an evening of jazz standards and beautiful ballads, backed by the insanely talented and prolific Anthony Wilson on guitar (an Angeleno composer that heads up his own awesome bands and is also the son of the “unofficial mayor of Los Angeles” Gerald Wilson), Robert Hurst on bass and Karriem Riggins on the drums.

To win the tickets:

1) Go over to the Yo! Venice! Facebook page by clicking here.

2) Like the Yo! Venice! page.

3) You will see this story posted on the page. In the comments section, simply write ONCE that you want to go. It is that easy!

4) At 4pm tomorrow, we will pick a winner (you must follow us on Facebook!) and notify you via Facebook how to get your tickets!

(The winner will be picked randomly by using this online number generator. Response #1 on Facebook will get the number 1,#2 is 2 and so on …)

If you don’t win the tickets, you can always purchase some for Friday or Saturday by clicking here! Check out more upcoming shows at the Bowl by clicking here! The Bowl is the best venue in Los Angeles!
