The first-ever freestyle motocross demonstration at Venice Beach will take place on Wednesday, May 9 at 1 p.m. The demo will feature five riders performing aerial motorcycle tricks and warming up for the Red Bull X-Fighters freestyle motocross series which is coming to Glen Helen Raceway on Saturday, May 12th. The event is free to the public.
Freestyle motocross riders will include Levi Sherwood (Winner in Dubai – the first stop of 2012), Dany Torres (2011 Red Bull X-Fighters World Champion), Ronnie Renner (FMX Icon and X Games gold medalist), Keith Sayers and Rich Kearns.
Created in 2001, the Red Bull X-Fighters concept has become the biggest freestyle motocross tour on the planet, featuring the world’s best riders throwing down tricks in stunning locations across the globe. The series kicked off its six-stop world tour on April 13 in Dubai. Following the stop in Glen Helen, the riders will travel to Istanbul (June 16), Madrid (July 20), Munich (August 11) and Sydney (October 6).
