Surface high pressure will continue to build into the great basin today… resulting in a strong and gusty Santa Ana wind event for Ventura and Los Angeles Counties through Saturday. The strongest winds will occur across the mountains … Where periods of potentially damaging gusts over 60 mph will continue. The winds should abate quickly by late Saturday afternoon …with localized northeast winds lingering Saturday night and Sunday morning.
