“Think of it as a vacation preview and acoustic souvenir for 16 million visitors who come to Venice every year to party and play,” says Linder. “Venice Beach is a great global brand and we’ll program music and entertainment that captures the excitement, beach culture, fun and sun that is Venice.
“We’ll focus on Venice news and events, surf reports, skateboard stuff and whatever’s happening in the local nightlife and music scenes,” he says.
When we started Yo! Venice! we thought about doing weekly podcasts of interviews with local politicians and people around town, so this could be great if Linder does this well and gets a balanced opinion on things!
