Movember, the decidedly lighthearted fundraising campaign which addresses the very serious issue of prostate and testicular cancer, starts today. Movember encourages all men to grow mustaches for the month of November to help raise awareness and funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation and Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG. Watch this video to get a quick idea of what the event is.
To date, over $100 million has been raised globally through official moustache-growing campaigns in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and Spain.

Movember participants are invited for free snacks, free cocktails and free mini-treatments at RakSa today from 3-8pm. (10846 Washington Blvd. in Culver City.)
