Stéphen Ribbon, a gallery owner/director from Berlin, is now in Venice and looking to create an artistic movement he calls the Venaissance.
The Venaissance will be having a group art show and music event at The Focus Studio during the next Venice Art Crawl on Thursday, October 21st from 7:30pm-1am. Admission is free, the party is 21 and over.
Featured artists include Pablo Amador, Art Venti, Bill Dambrova, Canlove, Craig Cartwright, Derek Franz, Ivo Vergara, James Mathers, Mika Revell, Nana, Thomas Helmintoller, Sam-E, and others. DJ Mano, Tomio and Cade will be spinning dub-step, house, and techno. VJ Fader, a pioneer in VJ-ing, will be exhibiting his 3-D visual mapping technologies onto a hanging acrylic installation and sculpture from Ivo Vergara.
The Venaissance would like to give shout outs to Mirror-Space, Mark Rojas (founder and CEO of Sparkwave Media and MOMENTUM) and the Cadillac Hotel, who’s lobby will soon be the first permanent Mirror-Space site in Venice Beach, hosting a permanent exhibition as well as events.
