The Venice Arts Gallery will have an opening and gallery talk for “Positively Sixth Street: 1992-2009” on Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th. “Positively Sixth Street: 1992-2009” is a retrospective of photography by documentary photographers and homeless adult participants of San Francisco’s Sixth Street Photography Workshop. The show will remain up until July 30th.
During the gallery talk, Sixth Street Photography Workshop Founder/Artistic Director Tom Ferentz and longtime instructors and participants of the Workshop will illuminate the work of this innovative program that shares the art and skills of photography with adults living in poverty.
