Rumor has it the recently closed Kangol space is about to be home to a Jack Spade shop.
Jack Spade, a fictional name, is the men’s complement to the Kate Spade brand. Its founder and principal designer was Andy Spade (actor David Spade’s brother and husband of Kate Spade.)
Seeing as The Neiman Marcus Group bought out the Spades and sold the brand off to Liz Claiborne for $124 million in 2007, it is pretty safe to say that Jack Spade is, in fact, a major chain store that may be opening on Abbot Kinney soon.
