I saw this mini-documentary on the medical marijuana industry in Los Angeles by Nick Gillespie of Reason over at BoingBoing and thought it would be worth re-posting here. It is estimated that LA has around 800 medicinal marijuana dispensaries right now, which means there are more weed shops than Starbucks in LA .. and LA has a Starbucks on every corner.
It goes without saying that you will see Venice Beach in this video.
