L.A. Auto Show 2009

The L.A. Auto Show starts tomorrow so we went downtown and peeped it yesterday. “Environmentally Friendly” vehicles are certainly the trend and German manufactures are taking the lead. The 2010 Audi A3 TDI picked up the green car honors, beating out finalists including the Toyota Prius, Mercury Milan Hybrid, Honda Insight Hybrid and the Volkswagen Golf TDI. The VW Jetta TDI won the award in 2009. If you are the type that buys carbon credits and has some seriously deep pockets, the AMG Mercedes Gullwing has serious “Boo Yaa” factor.
