Heal the Bay’s Coastal Cleanup Day is this Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 9 am to 12 noon. There are an estimated 12,000 volunteers that will be cleaning up at 60 locations around Los Angeles County. All cleanup supplies are provided – bags, gloves, data card, pencil, etc. Click here to see where to get involved.
Locally, Terumi Toyoshima, Tom Logan and Kris Woods have been working hard to organize a neighborhood cleanup event at and around Westminster Park which is right across the street from Westminster Elementary School in Venice as part of the events coordinated by Heal the Bay. Let’s help clean up where we live this Saturday!
