We were out surfing on the south side of the Venice Pier around 1130am and there was a tagged medium sized shark washed up on the beach (about 6ft, from nose to tail) on it’s last breath. The lifeguards came over and took it away I believe.
Sadly, it looks like the shark may have met up with some fishing line or the prop of a boat.
R.I.P. Shark!
