The CBS TV show Miami Medical, described to us by a friendly production type with a walkie talkie as a “knock off of ER” with “no one you ever heard of” was shooting today at the Venice Pier. They took over the whole lot with production trucks and had three Panavision cameras shooting at all times from what we could tell. Who said big money isn’t spent anymore on production in Los Angeles?
