Tonight from 6-9 pm, there will be a “meet and greet” fundraiser at High, the Hotel Erwin’s rooftop lounge, for the “Venice Art Crawl“, a new community event that will debut on August 19th. While there is a $25 donation required, drinks and appetizers will be provided and all proceeds will go to benefit the Venice Art Crawl.
The Art Crawl’s main area of activity is focused going North from North Venice Blvd along the Boardwalk, Speedway and Pacific Avenues ending at Westminster Avenue. The “Center” of The Venice Art Crawl is Windward Avenue, home of the “Venice” sign and Windward circle.
As this may turn into West Venice’s version of “First Fridays”, shop owners that would like to get involved with “pop up” galleries, gallery “curators” and artists are encouraged to attend this evening and start planning for August.
