On winter hiatus from their world travels supporting Roger Waters “The Wall” tour, VENICE (the band) played a benefit fundraiser for the Canyon Elementary school on December 9th. The Lennon brothers were joined by David Crosby of Crosby, Stills and Nash. The benefit, which was held at a private residence, helped raise over ten thousand dollars for the school.
Crosby has called VENICE “the best vocal group in the country and one of the best groups of any kind I have ever heard.”
Locally, Venice will be playing the “Lennon Lounge” in Santa Monica on Saturday, December 17 and at the SOhO in Santa Barbara on December 18th. Check out the band’s website for more information!
