Mirror Media Group, publisher of yovenicenew.wpengine.com, is thrilled to announce the website will have its very own print edition starting Friday, April 3.
The print version will be delivered to Venice homes and businesses every other Friday along with Mirror Media Group’s regional publication called Westside Today (westsidetoday.com), which will attach as a second section to Yo! Venice!.
For each Yo! Venice! print edition cover, the masthead will change thanks to submissions from the local community.
The creator of each masthead that is selected for publication will win a $50 cash prize and the chance to be featured in a profile piece in print and online.
The ongoing masthead competition is now open. Deadline for the first masthead will be March 15.
Specifications:
— Must include the text Yo! Venice!
— Must be 10 inches wide
— Must be between 1.8 and 3 inches tall
— Must be JPEG format
— Must be 300 DPI
— Must include date range (eg. use April 3 – 16, 2015 on entry – winners will be asked to update their masthead design with dates when selected for a specific edition)
— Optional: Your name/website
