While spectating at the Venice Skatepark is usually a safe activity, it can get dangerous on occasion when a skateboard flies out of the park! Remember, don’t take your eyes off the action! You don’t want to get hit by a board!

Shortly after sunset this evening, a woman that was spectating got hit in her collarbone / head by a skateboard! Two other spectators were hit too! There were multiple fire engines and Los Angeles County Lifeguards that responded! Fortunately, it is believed that none of the injuries were major, and all parties should be OK!
