Souris Hong-Porretta: Book Launch Party at MOCA!

Long time Dogtown resident Souris Hong-Porretta (Hustler of Culture, Tiny Iron Fists) will celebrate the release of her new book “Outside the Lines: An Artists’ Coloring Book for Giant Imaginations” tomorrow afternoon from 3-6pm at The MOCA Store at 250 S Grand Ave in downtown LA.

Outside the Lines

Hong-Porretta’s work is a coloring book for big or little kids, containing a collection of illustrations from more than 100 creative masterminds, including animators, cartoonists, fine artists, graphic artists, illustrators, musicians, outsider artists, photographers, street artists and video game artists.

Contributors to the work include Keith Haring, Katrina Dickson, Shepard Fairey, Laurie Lipton, Gary Baseman, Porous Walker, David J. Weissberg, Katsuo Design, Kozyndan and more.

During the celebration, Shepard Fairey and Jega will be DJ’ing, select artists featured in the coloring book will be signing, and there will be activity stations for drawing and coloring.
