Yo! Venice! Nominated for 2013 L.A. Weekly Web Awards!

From May 22nd to June 6th, The L.A. Weekly held open nominations for their “2013 L.A. Weekly Web Awards” . The Web Awards “celebrate all that’s awesome on the internet, as well as the local go-getters who are making things happen online. That’s right, even though the internet knows no bounds, we want to honor the web-savvy self-starters who call L.A. home”.

L.A. Weekly Web Awards!

The L.A. Weekly readers sent in their nominations and then their editors narrowed down the finalists. I am proud to be able to say that Yo! Venice! has been included in this years finalists list in Category 14: Best Neighborhood Blog! Congratulations to all of the other nominees!

L.A. Weekly Web Awards!

As always, any award (or nomination) that this site receives is due to you yourself and all of the other residents of Venice that send in stories and create, comment and share their passion about Venice here on this website. In all honestly, without all of your individual contributions, this site wouldn’t be what it is … so … big congratulations on being nominated to everyone that contributes to the dialogue we share about our community here on Yo! Venice!

If you would like to vote for Yo! Venice! to “win the big prize”, click here to do so.

Voting ends on Friday, July 19th!
