The Pasta Factory at 425 Washington has been renamed Macchi’s Bistro. The menu has received some small changes and additions, the interior a slight remodel!
The Pasta Factory was originally founded by Alejo Castro (who made his name at La Scala in Malibu before founding Alejo’s Presto in Westchester and Alejo’s at Lincoln and Washington) with partner Carlos Macchi. Castro’s ex-wife Claudia took over Alejo’s Presto Italian Restaurant location in Westchester after their divorce, Alejo continued at The Pasta Factory until his death in 2000. Alejo’s at Washington was recently renamed “Eddie’s“.
