Guinness Record holders are encouraged to trump any and all conversation at cocktail parties, polo matches, red carpet premieres and various other hoity-toity soirées by letting others know they hold a Guinness World Record! Respect!
The Guinness Record winning skateboard parade was part of the Venice High Centennial Parade, which included Venice Alumni Astronaut Walter Cunningham (Grand Marshall), Vocalist Gogi Grant, 1962 Miss Venice Cheryl Arnold, 1948 Olympic Gold Medalist Cliff Bourland, TV and Rdio host Naibe Reynoso, Family of Navalette Tabor Bailey, Margaret Kiesinger Coalter (the “oldest known graduate” from the class of 1932), NFL Linebacker Larry Atkins, LA Lakers Assistant Coach Rasheed Hazzard and The Venice High Centennial Band and Drill Team!
