Latitude 33 on Washington officially started selling their units last month so I dropped in to peep the views. I’m not usually a big fan of high-rises, but the Latitude 33 units are actually pretty darn sweet inside and the upper units have spectacular views. Spectacular views don’t come cheap, and the units range in price from $595,000 on the low end for a two bedroom 1,280 square foot lower level unit to 2.4 million for a 3,140 square foot upper level penthouse.

For someone that splits their time between LA and other cities I could see Latitude 33 being a great “lock the door and leave” option. If you want to go play in your yard and plant veggies, this isn’t the place for you. I can also see that there will soon be battles between residents and Baja Cantina over noise. While the windows are thick and really deaden the noise of Washington inside the units, the bands and fun at Baja are sure to tick off some of the eventual residents. A reminder to the new residents: Baja Cantina was there before you were and people like it. If you don’t want to live in a social part of town, don’t move in.
Since they have already gone to paper on a few units, they are starting on “phase two” of the development, which are the as of yet constructed buildings lit up in the model below.
