HGTV’s Extreme Living show is featuring a local Venice home tonight July 11, 2008 at 1:30 AM ET/PT
From HGTV’s website:
REFRIGERATOR PANEL HOUSE: When it comes to chillin’ out in the famous free-wheeling beach bazaar that is Venice Beach, CA, nobody does it like homeowner Tom Ennis. That’s because his house, The Panel House, has a skin made entirely of pre-fabricated panels typically used for walk-in refrigeration units. When the house gets cool – or warm – it stays that way. This house is like one very large, very comfortable thermos!

Seems odd, when it’s warm you want cool and vice-versa. You don’t want to amplify or even maintain what the outside environment is like.
