The Myrna Loy Statue is officially back at Venice High! The bronze is by Cambria sculptor Ernest Shelton, based on the original by Venice High art teacher Harry Winebrenner who in 1922 used student Myrna Williams as the model. Myrna Williams eventually changed her name to Myrna Loy and was a successful actress during the 20’s and 30’s. Read more about Myrna by clicking here.
The LATimes ran a piece on Sunday’s unveiling that you can read here.
