11-year-old Calista has a vision for her future.

Kids throughout the neighborhood are gearing up for camp during their summer break from school. That’s why local organization, Venice Arts, is asking the community for help to send children from low-income families on a summer camp adventure.
The Venice Arts Summer Media Arts Camp inspired 11-year-old Calista helping her discover a passion for filmmaking and a vision for her future, “I want to be a Director or Producer and work with other people,” she said.
So far Venice Arts has raised 75% of their $31,500 Summer Camp Scholarships goal thanks to donations from within the community. They are currently less than $8,000 away from providing full scholarships to 160 students this summer, giving them an experience that they’ll never forget.
A gift of just $75 sends a low-income child to Camp for one day. $375 provides a full week of Camp. Any amount to support Camp scholarships is appreciated, and because of a matching gift, your impact is doubled.
