Party at the Polls


Democrat Party, Republican Party, no? It was Venice Arts had the best party going on yesterday as neighbors who voted in the California Primary yesterday at Venice Arts, 1702 Lincoln Blvd, experienced voting with a bit of fun on the side.

Local non-profit, Venice Arts, was elected as both a polling place for

the California Primary Elections, and as a partner for LA2050’s #PartyatthePolls. As one of eight organizations in Los Angeles participating in #PartyatthePolls, Venice Arts joined an initiative that aimed to show the importance of civic engagement.

The party was held in “true Venice Arts fashion,” said Venice Arts Marketing & Communications Associate, Chelsea Chenelle. #VeniceVotes featured an interactive photo booth where had photos taken and “their voices heard.”
